 A must have for heel pain Jan 31, 2011

This is the best product I've tried for heel pain. I have been to a foot doctor and had custom made inserts but was still in severe pain. On a last chance before seeing the doctor for surgary, I decided to take a risk and try these inserts. I can say that in one week I was almost totally without pain. I recomend you try these before you spend hundreds at a foot doctor.

I wore for one week, created more pain in my feet than it allevieated. Now these sit on a shelf in my house, not worth the time money to return, I guess they figured that out when they priced this rip off. Taking advantage of peoples pain so someone can make a few bucks. Nice infomercial. sure suckered me in...

I am not sure whether it is personal, but this product didn't help reducing my leg pain but increased it...I tried to wear it for 2 weeks thinking that the pain will go away but didn't go! After two weeks I lost hope and couldn't bear the pain anymore. So I stopped wearing it.

Product was ok, you really do need to only wear for the first day about 1hr. and everyday after first just increase by 1hr. Pain went away from arch but then made a pain in middle of foot. I would rate product as 3 star.

I purchased my Walkfit Platinum Orthotics many months ago and have given them a very fair chance to help me with my foot problems. This product is exactly as described and it is important to give them a chance in order for them to work properly. I gave them every chance and wore them exactly as directed but to no avail. It seems that many people are helped by these Walkfit Platinum Orthotics and many are not. In my case, I believe this product contributed to a worsening of my condition. I have plantars fasciitis, which is a major cause of heal problems. I also have tendonitis, neuropathy, and other conditions which preclude purchasing a product over the internet without consulting a podiatrist. This was my mistake. I am sure that this is a fine product if you are a suitable candidate for using it but many persons need professional advice and customized orthotics. Before spending large amounts of money on medical care or custom orthotics there is probably no harm for most people in trying these. The price precludes any great investment so it is worth taking a chance. Obviously from the reviews, many people love these. In my case, this product caused me great pain. I used them exactly as directed and gave them every chance to help me. If you have severe foot problems these will probably not help much and may possibly cause greater pain and distress. Be careful to assess your condition before using a product such as this. Good luck and I hope they work for you. I am obviously not a good candidate for this product and I do not blame the manufacturer as they do issue a disclaimer which warns you that you may need professional care.
