By Melissa Bought this to use on my daughter's hair. Worked well twice and then the third time I used it, it broke. It's way too flimsy. One good tug on it and the ring just split in two. Gonna buy the thicker one and see if it works better.

"word puzzler"
I thought this product had been reviewed as I had responded before now. The Topsy Tail certainly does make handling long hair easier! I'm very happy with it and it does lend itself to people who have various disabilities also.... I've been there and it works for me. I just haven't figured out the 'braidmaking' yet. I'm amazed at the things that can be found at Amazon and they certainly are on the ball when shipping too. Orders come very quickly and arrive in great condition.
