The BEST cheese knife Aug 23, 2010 This is a must have for anyone that enjoys getting their cheese in blocks. This cheese knife cuts through any type of cheese, with ease. It doesn't stick to the knife, you can cut thin enough pieces to put on your burgers or grilled cheese sandwiches, and it cleans up well. It is also a good piece of mind that you won't be cutting off any fingers because you have to put too much pressure on the knife, losing control of it. You can slice off thin pieces with very little effort.
Excellent design! Jun 04, 2010 I have tried the biggest baddest steel knives, serrated and non-serrated, none worked so well. I would have never thought that a "plastic" knife like this would work so flawlessly for cutting cheese. Well, no exactly "plastic", it is special GE resin they used for making it. Perfect material and perfect design. Cheese just doesn't stick to the surface of the knife at all. I could cut cheese effortlessly, evenly, and as thin as I wanted.
Large Cheese Knife Apr 14, 2010 The marigold colored handled cheese knife is a great product. Cheese just slides off the knife when cut - the best knife I've ever used....

It's the best!!!!! Jan 14, 2010 Wow!! I love this knife!! I used the smaller one at a friends house and had to buy my own. Unfortunately I read the reviews which directed me to buy the big one instead of the small one. In my opinion you need both. The big one is HUGE and would be great for a big party where you buy 7 blocks of cheese from Costco and have to cut them in to half inch squares. For a regular dinner party the small is perfectly adequate. You can't take the big knife out and hand it to a guest. It would be akward! Buy both.
This thing cuts thick sharp cheeder blocks like butter. The way the blade is shaped it has multiple ridges which seem to allow air in while a regular knife allows no air and becomes more and more "stuck." This is the best way I can describe the way I understand how it works. Whatever it is, it's wonderful. I can remember cutting block after block for parties and my hand hurts SO bad while using my best knife. NO MORE!! NO MORE!

Pleasantly Surprised Jan 04, 2010 I have to admit that I was more than a little skeptical about purchasing a plastic knife but this knife is great. It really does slice through cheese like butter. I went back and forth between this and the "original" 9in The Cheese Knife. I'm glad that I chose the larger, 12.5in, one. The smaller one would have been fine for me but it would have cramped my husband's hand.
