Great stabilizer Jul 24, 2008
By Shawn I recently had surgery and my bathtub is pretty high. Therefore, I needed something to help stabilize me as I got into the tub to take a shower. The grip is very secure, so I don't expect it to fall off. Gave me a sense of security.
*** update *** Just wanted to mention that while I still appreciate having this product, on some occasions, one of the sides has started coming loose a little, causing it to slide. This seems to happen about once a month. Because of this, I would recommend that you test it prior to putting your full weight on it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great idea; dreadful execution - Don't Buy!, March 16, 2008

This is a great idea, but it doesn't work.
Before I saw the critical reviews I purchased 3 grips : 1 for myself, and 2 for gifts.
I diligently followed the directions, and attempted to install the grip. It sorta adhered to my tiled shower wall, but when I needed it, it failed, and came off in my hand! This is too dangerous.
I tried again. I woke up in the middle of the night by the crash of the grip falling to the floor.

I no longer dread stepping down into my sunken shower May 27, 2008
By Friar Tuck I have a severe balance problem and have dreaded the awkward step down into my large sunken shower. Putting a Bath Safety Grip Handle at each end of the shower has been a tremendous help in entering and maintaining my balance while showering. They're particularly helpful while washing my hair at one end and shaving in front of a mirror at the other. I don't know how well the suction works on other surfaces, but it's great on tile and porcelain. After four weeks, the handles have performed exactly as stated in the product listing. I have no complaints, and they're well worth the money.

Sure Grip Safety Bath Handle with Suction Cups Oct 06, 2008
By Darrel Just want to say, bought these for my Mother as she just had a serious fall incident and needs to be independent in her care so I purchase these hoping that they would give her some safety in the shower, and as it turns out she is very happy with them, they hold so strongly and she feels safe, I would recommend these to anyone just having a serious fall etc or are old and can not move around as much as they use to, my housecleaning customer also purchased them for herself and is very happy with them so thats two people now that can attest to there safety with these handles

Exremely Dangerous-Unsafe Product Apr 30, 2009
By Rebecca N. McNeish
"R. McNeish RNC, BSN"
These suction products are not safe to use for any reason. Yes there is a warning as to not use to support your weight. However, knowing that, I merely grabbed it after a bath to begin to get out just as a balance assist. I am 5'4" 125 pounds and did not pull on it even. It slid along the tub and nearly caused an accident. There is not a good reason to use this.
