I hate peeling potatoes. It makes my hands hurt. This thing is great. It leaves much more of the potato than I would peeling with a knife. If you keep running it on the same potato, you can use the strings to cut up and make hash browns. Also does cucumbers, carrots, anything you can fit in there really. Mine is worn out though and I need to get a new one.

Sorry folks, this one just doesn't measure up. It takes about as much time to set it up for peeling an apple, or potato as it does to manually peel same. I have yet been able to make it peel a potato. It peels about 3/4ths of an apple but nil on a potato. I expected more.

I eat alot of potatos, so I love the peeler, quick and easy! Tried it on an orange, it doesn't work. If you cook for large amounts of people often, you'll love this - better than peeling 10lbs of potatoes by hand. I peel the ends while the machine is peeling another potato!

I already had the hand crank version of the rotato and loved it. The electric version is even better. Great for white potatoes and that is about it but it really works well.

Just used this gadget and it blew me away. I was honestly expecting it to be a piece of junk and not work but boy was I wrong. It's easy to use and works as it is designed. 10 large potatoes later and not one hiccup. Just wish I would have had it on Thanksgiving! Well worth the money.
