This is the greatest!
For those of you who don't like all the potato peels, why not just fry them up for quick hash browns? They are great! Rinse thoroughly, drain and fry. Keeps well in the fridge overnight for a good breakfast.
Love how it peels anything and everything!

I got this thing about 2 weeks ago. it is well made for a $15 item which is cheap plastic but if you treat it right you wont have a problem. The problem is that when it peels the skin off of any vegetable, it cuts deep enough into the fruit that it wastes a substantial amount of good food under the skin. It substantially reduces the size of any vegetable. It should come with different radius cutting blades for different things. A shallow blade for potato and cucumber, a medium blade for kiwi and potato with lots of imperfections, and a deep blade for oranges and lemons. when I try to peel over ripe fruit, the arm has enough pressure that it wont go down, it just cuts deeper and deeper. the tension of the arm should be adjustable, but it isn't.
The good:

Built to last at least a few months
Much faster then hand peeler
Makes it possible to peel 10 to 30 lbs potato in 15 to 45 minutes. just a bit time consuming.
Makes lots of scraps for your rabbits
The bad:
Wastes a substantial amount of food
Could and should have better ergonomics
If you have a large family and use lots of potatoes, this is going to be worth getting. I only recommend this if you don't mind wasting about 1/16 of each potato to scraps.

I have one and have used it for years. It still works as new and saves me a bunch of time. My 2 3 year old grandkids love it and fight to help Pop use it.

I love the rotato! it's a quick way to peel a bunch of potatos or apples. we usually bring it out for thanksgiving dinner to get the peeling jobs done fast.
