 great product cheaply made Jun 08, 2010
This is a wonderful concept, but very cheaply executed. It feels like it will easily break making it more of a disposible product than a tool to keep. In defense, I do have to say, it has not broken yet! Wish they would add a few more dollars to it's manufacture and make it more substantial. Also it does not peel the tops and bottoms at all.
With respect to purchasing and receiving the product, top notch!

This product is either poorly designed or pooly made. It hardly works. It peels a bit, then the blade gets clogged, or it "paws" at the potato, without removing the skin. With a great deal of difficulty I could get it to peel about a half of a potato. It was a complete waste of money, but, thankfully, its a cheap item.

Pretty awesome piece of equipment---I do not like to manually peel potatoes and the peeler does it in no time flat- I liked it so well that I bought my daughter one and she loves it also.

I have had this product when it first came out, which was many years ago. It came with two blades, the first one broke after 11 years, I thought that was amazing. I used it so often, mostly for potatoes, but I used it for other fruits and vegetables too. Now after 14 years or more, it started to maybe get stuck but it still works great. I always hated peeling potatoes, but with Rotato I had my kids do it since they were 6. It is that easy. I just put the potato and they rotate, they thought it was fun and I was able to get other things ready while the potatoes are taken care of.

I had a Rotato Express before and I used it so much that I wore it out. I just had to buy another one. It is one of my favorite gadgets. It takes all the work out of peeling potatoes. I would recommend this to anybody...It is "great"!!!!
