Great for peeling apples, too! Nov 13, 2009
This is the second rotato express I have owned. We use it to peel apples for applesauce. I do about 2 bushels of apples for sauce to freeze, and this cuts the peeling time. I have used regular apple peelers, corers, etc. and just find this little machine the easiest to use when peeling this large an amount. The blades last a long time and the machine held up well also.

The product is very useful, because it can be operated by batteries or using the included electrical voltage transformer. The negative thing is the blade, that is very delicate and sharp, and is not found easily to purchase. But it is a very interesting product.

Must buy if you hate peeling potatos and or fruit. Jun 24, 2009
What more can I say I had the previous model that had a crank it was great. It ran out of blades and decided to upgrade to the automatic peeler. One press of a button and a couple of seconds later peeled potato.

I like to can applesauce pears, and almost enything I can get my hands on, espicially pears this is the best thing in the world to use. A BIG factor, don't let the pears get over-ripe. popatoes for a big holiday dinner......... wow no more pain, you'll get lots of help as kids love to use this. I've already worn onne out was back to Amazon the next day to get a new one.
