This is nothing but a set up of flashing lights... It does nothing to deter any rodent or insect... They can walk right by it, it might even attract them... Looks nice as it flashes the lights and oh yeah it has a NIGHT LIGHT... The only function that really works....

I got one of these 2 weeks ago. Sometime today it went dead. No lights and the night light is out as well. Also, the side plug does not seem to work. It's like the devise just went out. Poorly made and defective to boot. Not worth the money, in fact, not worth a buck.

Ever since I first used my Riddex Plus w/Night Light and Side Outlet on Christmas day to present day - February 10, 2010 - I've discovered that this product either simply is a scam, or is broken. The device had been placed in the kitchen all the time I've had it; and I've been seeing roaches crawling around, as far away as a couple of feet from it. It appears to be on, with its blinking red light and constant green light, but definitely is not working!

I was skeptical so I waited 2 years before I reviewed this item. We had a mouse problem in our garage. Every now and then you would turn on the light and see one of them scurry under the stairs or under a shelf. We would also find mouse droppings when we cleaned out the garage. I bought this item 2 years ago but had my doubts about whether it would work or not. I can tell you that I haven't seen a single mouse, or mouse dropping in 2 years.

I bought my riddex over a year ago and I can say I do not have mice in my house. In the past during the winter months I had mice that were getting into the silver ware drawer and cupboards and destroying things. I am glad I tried this and it works as expected. I bought one for daughter who lives in an older home built in the late 1800s and she was having rodent problems, mainly because of the dog food they stored in the garage. Since she plugged it in this past fall she has not had a single mouse. I can not say enough good about it.Riddex Power Plus w/ Night Light and Side Outlet
