Designed for older floors that are showing their age and wear, Rejuvenate Floor Restorer & Protectant is a polymer-based floor finish that works on almost any kind of flooring, including hardwood, wood laminates, ceramic tile, terrazzo, terra cotta, slate, flagstone, vinyl/linoleum, cork, cement, fiberglass, and finer polished stone such as marble.
In addition to filling in scratches, it brings back long-lost shine and seals and protects against damage such as stains and UV rays that cause fading.
It also increases traction by up to 50 percent and provides enhanced safety for people and pets alike. Every 32-ounce bottle is enough for up to 650 square feet.

I've been using this product for years, on both wood and old porcelain tile, and I've never seen the effect mentioned by the other reviewer, of flakes coming off and special cleaning needed. The only thing I can think of is that there was some product on the floor which interacted with the polish to make it flake. In my experience, the product eventually wears off leaving no discernible residue (but caveat: see end for spills and drips).
You do need to clean properly and neutralize any pre-existing product on the surface. As another reviewer mentioned, water with a little vinegar will work for cleaning, but any chemical product needs to be removed with an appropriate product.
This is really great stuff; it does not just make the floors look like new, it actually protects them from further damage and certainly dirt. I had applied it to old, worn-out porcelain mosaic tiles that had lost their sheen and protective coat, and would get dirty in no time, and Rejuvenate made cleaning up a breeze.
And no, this is not a "planted" review--you can see from my other reviews I am a real person and quite critical. I just think this is a great product and the cheapest shortcut to a shiny floor. With moderate traffic it should be good for three months at least--on tile, I found it lasted longer.
I also took some back home to Greece and my aunt used it to 'rejuvenate' a cherry cabinet that was placed just above the range and which had lost its shine due to the hot steam coming out of the oven. No other product, short of revarnishing, could have had such effect.
Highly recommended.
JUST BEWARE!!!!!: NEVER leave the bottle on the floor or a table with liquid dripping down the side. If you leave it there, it will form a ring around the base of the bottle, which, once dried, cannot be removed except through strong chemicals which are just as likely to damage the wood.
Treat it like you would a can of polyurethane, as it behaves quite similarly.

well i put this stuff on my brand new floor when i got done building my house and it was great just be very careful to not do what i did and be stupid using pine sol on it cause it will really mess up your floors finish and cause you to have to spend a long time fixing it to make it look the way it did before..

I own a salon so needless to say, our floors can get pretty tortured. After wasting money trying every store bought cleaner I could find, I found Rejuvenate at Home Depot. Don't bother with anything else - this entire line is safe for all floors and works great! You will risk ruining your floors with anything else.

I used this product 3 times so far... AMAZING! The last time I used it, I had the best results. I removed carpeting that was laid over wood floors. The wood has not been refinished in over 25 years... it looked DISGUSTING!!! I gave this a shot... and it came out beautiful!!! The nice coating sealed in the wood, gave a nice rich shine, and I felt like the floor was nice and sanitary!
I just moved to another apartment and used it in my bedroom... again... amazing! I plan on using it throughout the rest of the house including the linoleum kitchen floor...
TIP: The kit normally comes with an elastic kitchen towel to wrap around the head of a sponge mop for easy application. This time around, I didn't have that, so I bought a cheap kitchen towel and wrapped it around the head of the sponge mop and wrapped a rubber band around it. Came out great!

This stuff is amazing! I had my floors redone 2 years ago. Then I decided to have 3 dogs rule my life and never have throw rugs. I live in a small house and myself and the dogs hang out in the living room mostly which has hard wood floors and they use it as a playground. Well the floor started turning black and tons of scratches and some parts were worn down to the bare wood! (thank god i love those dogs) not to mention my 3rd dog cannot seem to figure out the housetraining concept and pees on the harwood floor eating away at it. well i got this product, crossed my fingers. I first steemed the floor with my steemer to clean it. Then i did as the instructions told me and waited an hour. I couldnt believe the results even my friend was amazed!! it looked like i just had the floors done!i only did my living room and where the living room and the hall way meet you can tell the differece since i didnt do the hallway! I am very pleased with this product! It was easy to use and I will continue to do so when it gets yucky again! Wish i Could add a pic.
