COVERS DOG AND CAT SCRATCHES Oct 05, 2009 By PenName
The products I tried on my wood floors before Rejuvenate include Bona, Quick Shine, and Orange Glo. Orange Glo and Quick Shine shined the floors nicely, but didn't cover scratches hardly at all, and wore off the floor very quickly. Bona was useless, except for the great mop which I now use to apply Rejuvenate. Cynical about advertising, especially "TV products," I assumed Rejuvenate did about the same thing and no more. NOT TRUE! Although a bit more spendy than some other products, I'd pay twice this price for it.

Rejuvenate did a good job of covering scratches from the pets, and left a brilliant, very-long-lasting shine with only one application. It also covered scuffs from chairs constantly moving across the hardwood floor. The color, consistency and application are the same as Orange Glo and Quick Shine, but Rejuvenate is indeed a very different product. I don't often jump up and down about cleaning products, but Rejuvenate does such a good job I decided I didn't need to do pricey refinishing, although people are fooled all the time into thinking I did. Very highly recommended.

I got the kit for less than $18 at a local linen store, but it's hard to find offline. Easier to just order it online.

I love this product. You clean your floor, mop this on, let it dry, and POOF! Like magic you have beautiful, shiny, hardwood floors.

I did NOT get the same results withe Bona X alternative.

I first used this product at my dad's house on a newer pine floor, and it made it shine beautifully....and months later, it still looks like new.

I have an older 1910 home and I used this on one of my floors after ripping up carpet. The floor was very dry, but in pretty good shape. I fixed a few problem areas by sanding and staining, and an hour later I applied Rejuvenate. It instantly came to life and looked 10x better. I was amazed it did as good a job on my old, dry floors. I did use a little more than I would normally use (because of the floor being so dry), but it wasn't excessive. I went through a whole bottle plus a little extra for a 15x18 room. This stuff isn't made to fix those floors that need a complete refinish (like the person who gave it 4 stars), but it does a great job for those that are border line needing refinishing (like mine). I did some light refinishing, as I said, but nothing major. I will be buying more bottles to do the rest of my floors, but I will need to make some repairs (filling in cracks, sanding and staining light/dark areas from stains, etc). But, this will be my top coat. Sure beats having to poly the whole floor -- much less messy, definitely smells less, and just looks devine :)

I had my hardwood floors sanded and refinished professionally. my large dog wore finish down in high traffic area by front door. This was easy to use. make sure floors are clean. dries fast. wash pad out ASAP--once the finish hardens the pad is ruined. my dog wears this finish off fast, but i just reapply every 3-4 months--beats professionally reapplying polyurethane every 2-3 years in high traffic areas.

I've used this product for two years. The floors in my rent house are unfinished and over 60 years old. They're in good condition except they are dull and stracthed. Since I don't own this house, I would never entertain the idea of refinishing the floors. Thanks to this product I don't need to. It's easy to use and the more layers you apply the glossier the look. I have a large dog that scratches the floow with his big feet, and this product fills in the sratched and shines at the same time. I love it!!! One application last about 3 months and then starts fading.
