Excellent Product Jun 16, 2008
By J. Finley This product is about $40 cheaper than the heavily advertised Rapidbath, and does the same exact thing... plus, you don't have to use exclusive 'shampoo cartridges', just dilute some dog shampoo with water in the chamber. This thing works awesome. I don't think my dog has ever been cleaner. Sure, he didn't like it, but thats because he hates having a bath, but it was much easier to do, a much less of a mess. Since the outdoor hose I feel is too cold, what you do is put the adaptor on your bathroom sink (you need some tools to do that, stuff that you probably already have around the house), and you can leave it on the sink because it doesn't ruin your tap (infact its more like replacing your old tap with new hardware). The included hose is about 8 feet at least (plenty big enough to reach the bathtub from the bathroom sink). You don't hook it to your bathtub or shower head like the rapidbath... you just use the bathroom sink for hookup, and your tub to contain the dog and so you dont flood the place. Depending upon the size of your dog (I have an overweight stinky lab) it should only take a few minutes and you're done. It rinses well, and you have more control over the situation in general. The best part... no scrubbing, and no having to touch their 'junk' or dirty paws. The air pressure is strong and deep cleans the fur. The hardest part is convincing your dog to take a bath, and drying them off afterwards. So not only do you not have to pay expensive groomer costs, you can get your dog a high quality bath without flooding the bathroom or breaking your back!

The Best Washer I Have Ever Found Jul 23, 2007
By S.L.
"Happy Pet Jet owner"
I have a small (7 lb) dog that gets bathed at least once a week (in the sink). Between fumbling with opening the shampoo, applying the shampoo then rinsing (with the kitchen faucet sprayer which NEVER has enough pressure) THEN fumbling with the conditioner, applying the conditioner then rinsing that out (which i always thought i'd had rinsed out thoroughly). She never really looked CLEANED (she would dry dull looking and have to be brushed to look HALF WAY decent--which she never did). I thought lets give this PET JET a try!!! I am so HAPPY with this item already after one use. The hook-up is soooooo easy---the 3 spray options are GREAT---all one-handed use---having the shampoo in the handle of the Jet Pet---the WATER PRESSURE from this pet jet is unbelieveable !!!! The bathing time is more than cut in half with the Pet Jet. After one use, there was a definite difference in her coat (reason being)the Pet Jet rinses ALL the shampoo and conditioner COMPLETELY OUT (because of the pressure from the Pet Jet)so her coat doesn't have the Residue left behind from the shampoo and conditioner (as i had from using the kitchen sprayer even though I thought I had rinsed her completely). GREAT investment for pet owners. Can't wait to use it on the 85 lb dog this week-end :0)

Save your money Sep 19, 2008
By Karmala This is a great product, before it starts falling apart. After about a dozen uses... bathed the dogs, shampooed my hair, watered the plants... the plastic compression ring that holds the hose onto the sprayer broke. The sprayer is useless without it since the water pressure pops the hose off of the sprayer without the compression ring to hold it in place. Several hardware stores said that it is a proprietary piece and they had nothing that would work. I emailed the manufacturer... M2Pets... 8 times! I sent them my address twice and was told that a replacement piece would be sent, but after over a month of trying to actually get the piece...to no avail... I emailed them today and told them that I could not in good conscience recommend their product or their company. So I am out the $40 AND have to purchase a different sprayer.
09-23-08 update: I finally got the replacement piece and it is working fine again...

Fancy Dog Shower Head Apr 30, 2010
By E. Hancock I saw this on sale for around $20.00 at my local Petsmart. This was the lowest price for a spray shower adapter I could find at the time, so I decided "why not." Prior to using this, I used an old plastic pitcher to wet and rinse my dog down in the tub. The pitcher method works, but spray showers are much easier to use.
My assessment on this product's features:
Easy lock button to keep water flowing continuously: Can help prevent hand fatigue when bathing larger animals.
Comfort grip handle for one handed operation: It's okay, not sure for people with small hands.
Two quick connectors allow you to connect the Pet Jet for outdoor or indoor use: You can leave the kitchen/bathroom connector on indefinitely, however, I'm not too sure about the garden hose. Maybe if you have a quick connector setup for your garden hose. Personally, I would've preferred having a quick connector that attached to a standard dual shower-head configuration.
Dual trigger action, press button for soap and squeeze handle for water: If not using the shampoo reservoir, pressing both buttons increases the water pressure - not enough to harm the animal, but it does make rinsing faster, especially for double-coated dogs that are hard to wet down.
Internal shampoo reservoir holds enough shampoo for several washings: Not sure if it holds enough for several shampoos, but it does make bath time easier and faster. Just be sure to dilute your normal-brand pet shampoo.
Other thoughts:
Make sure you don't cross-thread the connector to your bathroom/kitchen faucet. There are only a few threaded rows, and if not careful, they can be easily cross-threaded. Use a wrench to tighten if necessary.
Don't leave the water running when the spray shower is idle. This causes a build=up of water pressure and the hose could rupture if you're not careful.
Before disconnecting the hose, turn off the water and release the trigger on the sprayer to void the hose of excess water. Remove the sprayer from the hose, and let the hose completely drain.
Conclusion: Overall, I'm satisfied with the product, but I doubt I'd have made this purchase if it wasn't on sale.

Works Great! Jan 19, 2010
By Karla J. Chin
"dog is my shepherd"
After reading numerous reviews (good and bad, some really bad) posted here I went ahead and made the purchase. While it's not the highest of quality (did you really expect high quality for $24?) it works great! Reading the reviews did help me avoid mistakes made by others so I had a greater chance of success. I didn't let the water pressure build up so the plastic adapter did not fail. I thinned out the shampoo (as stated in the instructions) so it dispensed fine. I was done washing the dog so quickly, my partner kept asking if I did a thorough job. I highly recommend this product as long as you are aware of the potential problems.
