5Coffee pod filters  Sep 12, 2009 By Shilo
I ordered the 4-pack, which was supposed to be 160 filters. Happily, each of the 4 packs contains 50 filters, not 40, so instead of 160 filters total, I received 200 filters. This filter fits the Perfect Pod maker, which makes great individual coffee pods for our 'Cafe Invento' coffee maker from Holland. It may fit others as well. The beauty of this particular pod is that you can make it as full as you wish; I like my coffee quite strong, but for those who prefer weaker brew, you can make them with less grounds. You can also make your own tea bags. The little sealer that looks like a waffle iron works very well, and I've only had a couple of the coffee pods fail to seal. I highly recommend the coffee maker as well as the coffee pod filters and the Perfect Pod coffee pod sealer. Received in a timely manner and as advertised, but, as I noted earlier, 20% more filters for the same price. P.S. Note that the photo is a bit misleading. The Perfect Pod filter sealer machine is purchases separately, I think for around $40. It doesn't come with the pod filters.

5I Love Being Able to Use My Own Coffee!  Jul 16, 2011 By MsMargo
I've been using my Perfect Pod maker for years. I love that I can use it to make my own pods, since I've found the brands of pods on the market to be dismal. (Yes, Senseo, I'm talkin' to you!) The pod filters are easy to use, and make a decent cup of coffee. I've had my best results with not wetting them before I put them in the holder. They work well with being over or under filled, depending on how "robust" a cup you personally like. I get good crema with them, but I do have to say I'm not a 6-inches-of-foam junkie. If you want that go to Charb$cks and ask for extra-extra-extra foam.

Every Saturday I make enough pods for the week and put them in a baggie. I could see that it could get to be a hassle to make pods every day - if you're in a hurry - but some people love the whole making the coffee Zen process.

The only downside of the pods is that after you've made your cup of coffee, they tend to drip a lot more than store-bought pods, so be ready for a very wet pod the first time you go to throw it out. Like other reviewers, I would love a paper box, rather than the plastic clamshell they come in, but that's just an eco-preference. I won't rate down the product because shipping is high - that's the seller, not the product.

2Perfect Pod Maker  Jan 15, 2011 By Terry Kinney
I have used both the Perfect Pod maker and the refill pod filters. Do not waste your money! The first pod maker failed in a few months. After much haggling with the seller, I received a replacement. The replacement failed in the same manner - it would no longer heat. I removed the top (containing the heater) and began using an iron to seal the filters. The filters themselves blow out sending grounds into your cup. I cannot recommend the Perfect Pod Maker.

5great way to dodge the high cost of pods  Jan 10, 2010 By Karen S. Hogan "cravenreader"
I buy these filters for my husband, he loves the Senseo coffee maker and we have the pod machine so
far this is only place I have found them. I believe the postage and handling is outrageous.
