Opened the package and the thing was cracked everywhere but still able to function. They put it in a small paper utility envelope with barely any padding. Next, most coins don't slide very well and you have tilt the thing to make it go into the right hole. Next, if you lift the top too much and turn the top it will mix the bottom coins and jam up. Next, the counter would count double sometimes. Next the counter would jam so I just took it off and used it without the counter. Overall this thing is a piece of **** and I don't recommend anyone waste their money on it.

Cylinders are labeled by coin, ie. quarters, dime, etc. put in the dime it may fall to the penny, or the quarter. Then try to get the coins to the right cylinder and get them out,dont try the coin rolls either they dont fit and again trying to get them out the counter at the top doesnt count properly. I am going to give them as gag gifts.

This is really exactly what I was looking for - a coin sorter that counts as you insert coins. I am disappointed that you have to insert one coin at a time rather than handfuls, and coins go in the wrong tube probably 10% of the time. Pennies are especially bad at going in the right slot.

But if you're careful, you don't insert coins too fast, and the sorter is on a very sturdy and level surface, it will usually work nicely.

I got this money sorter / counter and was a little disappointed to find out that it's not working well.
The main problem is that sometimes it doesn't "read" the coins correctly so it adds a different amount (it happend a lot while inserting $20 worth in coins) and because it doesn't read it correctly, it also sorts the coins to the wrong place.
My advice, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Works OK. Sometimes the coins go to the wrong slot, but mostly works OK. Better than anything else we've tried out there, especially the digital coin machines which don't work well at all.
