after about 15 years, I must have dropped it one to many times. Now, I'm buying my second flea zapper. It truly works. New cats quickly get past the low humming noise and enjoy the attention of being petted and groomed for fleas at the same time. The fleas don't always die right away, but I'm sure that they do: I drop them into a small bucket of soapy water. I have also used it on my Labrador Retriever and Jack Russell Terrier. It works just fine.

I used this product the day I received it. The idea is great, but the product does not perform well. The teeth of the comb do not penetrate the animals fur. It did not work at all for me and I returned it. I had no problem with the return.

This was a bad buy... it does not work. It can't get through the cats thick fur to kill any fleas. I don't recommend it.

I do not have this product - would not waste my money on it. The whole concept is flawed. You would be wasting so much time sorting through your pet's coat looking for fleas to zap. You'll never find all of them and even if you did - 90% of the flea population lives off of the pet (carpets, couches, lawn, etc.) They only get on your pet to feed. Don't waste your money on this product. Instead employ proper flea control measures, such as monthly application of flea preventatives obtained from your vet (frontline, advantix, etc.) and treat the house & yard appropriately.
