I bought this item with reserve. After trying on large russet potatoes the blade just sailed through the skin and made the job quick and easy. Being left-handed didn't cause any problem in the operation either. It worked for me.

This thing is great! I bought it along with a Mango seed remover/slicer thing and it really takes the work out of preparing them. It's almost fun to do, and a whole lot faster and less waste than a knife. It's really sharp and it will peel the hell out of anything.

I expected this thing to be junk and was shocked when it worked so well! Only caveat is to be careful when peeling--it easily nicks fingernails and your palm if you aren't being careful. Love it!

Is super sharp and makes such thin peels. I love this peeler for large veggies. Makes short work of Eggplant, zucchini, etc. Too large for small carrots and the like. This is the first ceramic blade I have owned and I am impressed so far. Will be interesting to see how it holds up.

This jumbo sized peeler was much larger than I expected. However, it's great and sharp. Definitely a good mango peeler; difficult to peel smaller items. I thought I could get away with just one for both large and small fruits, but that is not the case.
