For smooth, effortless writing, nothing beats Kyocera ceramic ball pens. Unlike conventional metal ball points, ceramic roller balls won't flatten or skip. They can also handle the preferred water-based inks which corrode metal balls.

ceramic pen Jan 13, 2009
By Claudia Kelm The ceramic pen is great, but I gave it as a gift so I wish a box would have been included.
ceramic ball Apr 30, 2012
By Lucas B. Creole This pen writes very smooth and looks very stylish too. I use it every day. It feels a little bit light in your hand and the aluminum seems a little bit thin but for the price it deserves 5 stars. The great thing is the ink refill can be reused. Just pop the cap off the end of the cartridge and pour in some more ink then put the cap back on. Be careful when putting the cap back on because there is a pressure release valve at the bottom that will squirt out some ink. I have refilled it 3 times and it is still writing like new!
Great Pens Dec 21, 2011
By Wayne B. Story I love Kyocera's ceramic ballpoint pens. I keep dropping the cap on this version. I wish they still made the retractable ballpoint. Oh well, I'll keep using these and just be more careful.
