I am bad in the kitchen with knives and electric food processors don't do a decent job like this one.. This one has 3 blades, which touch almost touch the edges of the container and hence very good. Very apt for small quantities. This requires some considerable power to operate and may not be easy for some, if the qty to be chopped is large. the accessories are easy and efficient too
Disappointed in the product Mar 20, 2012

Kitchen Plus 2000 My husband and I went to a home show in Denver and were impressed with how the demonstration showed how to cut and slice and grate a number of different things. We were going to buy a veggie chopper anyway so after consdieration bought this one for $30. We took it home and started using it immediately. We found that the handle on the side of the container is not really good for anything and you really need to have strength to turn the blades with the handle on top. I did chop onions and apples great but when I used the grater to grate lemon and lime peel for lemon curd, it left a rough surface on the container and the grater. It actually looks as though the acid of the lemons and limes ate through the plastic. Now I am wondering if the plastic which is triangle #6, is made from something that is harmful to human beings. Number 6 triangle means it is made of styrene (the same stuff that foam cups are made from) and now, after grating lemon and lime rinds the plastic has rough spots. Now my concern is that the styrene may leak out into my food. After the purchase, I also found it on the internet for $15. I am frustrated with my purchase and there are no guarantees. Lesson learned: Do Not Buy Things At Shows unless you have already researched them.

Wasted money Jul 27, 2007
By Movie Mogul This product jams when chopping bulky vegetables such as celery or onions. I also bought the pro chopper plus which is more expensive but works very well.
