Good product that needs a little tweaking Sep 17, 2010
By GMK I am an old lady and this product suits my needs. But I do have a couple of problems: 1) Stool needs to be turned on its side after each use (and it is not lightweight) to allow water that collects inside to drain out. 2) The feet need scrubbing with a bleach product each week to kill the mold that seeps out from inside the legs.
Neither of these issues would have been a problem in my younger days, but then again I would not have needed the stool.
But I am satisfied, and the stool is strong, safe, and the swivel feature is a definite plus.

sturdy, just not the shelf... Sep 07, 2010
By Katherine M Schaechter all in all i am happy with this shower stool. assembling it was fool proof, it is very sturdy and you don't have to be afraid that you (or your loved one) will fall off. the "swivel" part is actually pretty nifty, too. only problem is with the shelf - it won't stay in place. i have a narrow bathtub and it fit perfectly as well.

swivel shower stool Dec 06, 2010
By ses The swivel shower stool is comfortable, sturdy and easy to assemble. Read directions before assembly. The shelf can't be added after the legs are installed.

Shower seat very good value for the money May 08, 2011
By bubbabehr I ordered this for my mother to use in the shower, it works great and is very stable. Plus it was $20 cheaper here than the best price I could find on any other website.

Best Choice For Shower or Bath Stool Mar 17, 2011
By Kathy This product is one of the best stools I have found at a moderate price. It is attractive, has a shelf underneath and fits smaller spaces without sacrificing seat space. The down side is that the swivel doesn't work very well. There is a piece of plastic between the seat and the base that is supposed to make it swivel. It doesn't - too much work. The good part is that once you have it in your bath or shower you will quickly find that you don't need it to swivel as the surface is smooth and it is easy to maneuver anyway. It has a locking pin that stops the top from rotating so as a bonus - its an extra stool when you need one.
The only improvement that would make it better would be suction cups on the feet - any stool - including this one can tip over the higher it is adjusted. We bought ours with a Medline Bathtub Safety Bar and they look great and it works fine. Highly recommend it to everyone.
