1I Was Duped!  Dec 04, 2005 By Misha Mark Mukherjee
I bought this flashlight after seeing commercials for it on TV. It works just like they say: shake it up and turn it on. What they don't tell you is that the flashlight only lasts about three minutes or less before growing weak and completely ineffective. When I'm taking my dog for a walk at night I have to shake the darn thing almost constantly in ordered to see where I'm going! Sure, the idea of the flashlight is cool - it's what sold me - but the actual product itself is junk. Don't waste your money.

1waist of time flashlights  Jan 04, 2006 By Brandy S. Hallman "mom of 2"
Don't buy these, they don't even come to your house assembled. I bought one for my father for Christmas. It arrived competely disassembled! My father had to put it together himself. He says you have to vigurously shake it for 2 minutes to get a good light from it but it goes dim very fast after first minute and a half. Even if you keep doing it like the directions say, the normal battery operated flashlights are still better than these. I went through amazon and he got his in a week, I went through the main website to get my own and I've been waiting 2 and a half months (backorded). I'm expecting mine to come in pieces too apparently. My father says you cannot see beyond 8 feet with it and half that for the little one that normally comes with it. It's not worth the money for this product, it sucks.

5Tested and approved by this Tech.  Dec 26, 2005 By Kevin Lynch
This is an edit - PLEASE be carefull when you purchase these sets from any seller. My first order from ????? where great and they worked perfect. I then decided to order 2 more sets, but ordered them from someone else. These were all completely NOT working shells. All the components needed for the shake charging where missing. Therefore the 6 flashlights were not shakable charging lights like my first set.

To identify bad lights, behind the on/off switch there is a green flat piece with wires. on the other side of this green flat piece there should be a large round thing. Mine looked like a green candy with a silver top. If this green candy is not there then it is HIGHLY likely you got ripped off and contact the seller in regards to disputing the item.

Original Review: I bought a set of 3 and received that promptly. I was skeptical about the price, so when I got them I turned each one on and let it drain the batteries. Then I shook each one for 30 seconds and turned them on and started playing Quake 4. After 30 minutes they where all still beaming just fine. At about 35 minutes, one of them started to flicker and fade. By 45 minutes they all had gone out. Then I shook them again and we where back in business.

I did notice that the construction is not always perfect. One of the power switches was loose and wiggled a little which made the light go on and off if you messed with it. I also wouldn't submerge these in water like they do in commercials, but they are VERY sturdy.

2EVERLIFE IS LITTLE LITE  Jan 29, 2006 By AGNAZZO

EVERLIFE IS LITTLELIGHT, November 22, 2005

Reviewer: AGNAZZO (Tampa, Florida United States) - See all my reviews

LIVING IN FLORIDA I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE EVERLIFE FLASHLIGHTS. THE PARTY THAT SAID THAT THESE FLASHLIGHTS ARE CHARGED UP DURING SHIPPING IS SUFFERING FROM SHAKING OF THE HEAD. IT TAKES AT LEAST A MINUTE OF SHAKING AFTER DELIVERY BEFORE THE FLASHLIGHT IS GIVING OUT ITS MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF LIGHT WHICH IS VERY LOW. AFTER THAT TO KEEP IT OPERATING MORE SHAKING IS IN ORDER. THE ILLUMINATION WHICH IS VERY LOW COMPARED TO OTHER BATTERY FLASHIGHTS DIES OUT VERY RAPIDLY AND NEED ADDITIONAL SHAKING TO KEEP IT GOING. THIS FLASHLIHGT TO BE FAIR MAY COME IN HANDY DURING A HURRICANE POWER FAILURE. LED FLASHLIGHTS THAT USE BATTERIES ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO THESE SHAKING FLASHLIGHTS.THE BATTERIES LAST A VERY LONG TIME DUE TO THE LOW POWER THAT LEDS OPERATE AT.

5Work perfectly fine for me!  Nov 19, 2006 By Vinh H. Nguyen "vcomptek.com"
These flashlights are working perfectly fine for me. YOu have to shake it regularly like for 30 seconds to use it for 30 minutes. If you got something is not working, then probably you have bought defective products, so contact the seller for exchange or something. I actually used these my self, so make sure you use it often. Otherwise this thing will go dead after a while, just like if you leave the battery too long, it dies out. YOu have to shake it and use it regularly. Hope this help for any buyers out there who are interesting in these products.
