5my dryer works like new again!  Jul 18, 2012 By Amazon Customer
This works well to get down into the vent and suck out all the lint you can't reach with fingers. I am shocked at the amount of lint it pulls out each month.

There is a slight kink, however, in the clear hose, so I have to be careful with that portion of the hose while using the vacuum.

This is not a design problem, but a shipping problem. It needs to be shipped in a larger package so it can be rolled instead of folded.

5 stars for product, 1 star for packaging for shipping.

4GOOD  Mar 19, 2012 By Charles K. Gorga
I RECEIVED THE WRONG THING FIRST BUT THEY DID SEND THE VENT VACUUM FINALLY. PLUS WHAT THEY SENT BY MISTAKE THEY LET ME KEEP WITH NO CHARGE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS DECENT. THE TUBE DOES COLLAPSE WHEN IT SUCKS LINT IT GETS STUCK AT THE FRONT OF THE TUBE. IF YOU PULL IT OUT AND CLEAN IT AND DO IT A FEW TIMES IT WILL CLEAN OUT THE ALL THE LINT OUT OF THE DRYER.

1does not fit my vaccum.  Feb 05, 2013 By Jenny Signor
This was stated as fitting most vaccums, however, all three of mine: bissell, red devil, & hoover; didn't fit any of them. Had to duct tape it to the hose attachment to seal it. Would have been better off going to hardware store & buying my own plastic tube for .99 instead of $10 for one that does not fit. A waste of money. Go to the hardware store, get a piece of clear flexible tubing. attach to your vaccum. Same thing.

3Still in progress  Dec 19, 2012 By W. Larsen "Cash fan"
Still a work in progress. Tried it with the whole house vac and that collapsed the plastic tube, so no good there. then tried a small
shop vac and did get more lint out. It is surpirzing how far down the vent goes down, but swishing it back and forth, more lint did come out. But when I pull out the lint screen there is still some lint clinging to the bottom of it. Our granson the engineer will be put to work on this at Christmas.

I did see a very similar set up in Consumers Report and they did manage to get quite a bit more lint out of some of the testing, so I am not giving up.

3It works and is ok!  Nov 16, 2012 By Magdalena Ballinger
It is working but I was expecting a more sturdier material!!! Soft plastic which kinks fast! I think it is over prized for 10 Dollars. Next time I will get just a plastic tube from a home improvement store and use as an adapter duct tape.
The item came in a thin plastic envelope. A card board box would be more appropriate. Especially when you pay 6.40$ for shipping.
