I have been using a stand up spoon rest for years. Was pleased to find this double one available. They are so much better than the traditional spoon rests and with the double I now have a place for all of my utensils while I am cooking.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the stand breaks down into two pieces. I would prefer one piece as I am leery of picking it up by the top for fear that it will come apart. They fit together pretty snugly but still.. I may just superglue the pieces together to be safe.

This spoon rest is 'almost' perfect. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't hold a spatula with a wide paddle. Otherwise it is so much nicer than the traditional style. The handles don't accidentally get too close to the burner and get hot (and burn you). Food on the cooking tool drips off and into the dish rather than down the handle, which happens sometimes with the traditional spoon rest.
I am glad I purchased this and will recommend to family and friends.

didn't realize how often we would need the two holders when we bought it. Takes little space, it was a great purchase!

This item is a simple design but an effective kitchen tool, it's one of those gadgets that sits in the background until needed. After seeing it used during the holidays everyone wanted to know where did you get it! Great kitchen tool!
