I love these, I was so happy to see them at Target! I love to wear my hair teased up, but with these I don't have to tease as much and I use much less hair spray...they work great with head bands too! My hair is cut just above my shoulders and I can use all sizes, the largest size is my favorite...if you are even just considering this product...just buy it!!!

I bought this because I was doing a scene from Hairspray and thought these might help give me a super swell do.

This product is more of a don't. They are kind of short and make an awkward bump.

I picked these up on sale at the drugstore for 5 bucks and that is about what they are worth. If you wear your hair "poofed" in the back this might be helpful BUT unlike the commercials claim, this ISN'T the best product for fine hair! I have a lot of hair but the texture of the hair is thin. I had a lot of trouble hiding the plastic. Unless you position it just right it looks like a head tumor or you end up looking like a Conehead. The slightest gust of wind and the plastic thing shows unless you use a ton of hairspray and tease your hair. If you are blonde and you are standing in bright sunlight this also creates a second flaw= Your hair looks see through! The plastic teeth are also annoying and pokey and fine, long hair tends to tangle in them easily. It also slides out and doesn't stay put unless pinned.

So far I have only been able to use the smallest Bumpit work for the "pouf" look and even then it is hard to make it look natural. The bigger ones look too phony and my hair looked like a blonde version of Snooki from the show Jersey Shore! I am also a petite person and though this hairdo adds height in a photo, in real-life it looks sort of funny and if you have the pouf at the wrong angle it makes the head look egg shaped. Personally if I am going to do the pouf thing, I prefer the old fashioned way just like my Grandma did in the 50's= A very large hair roller, hairspray and light teasing. It looks more natural and if there is wind, I won't have plastic exposed on the back of my head.

The only reason this product was not a fail: They included a booklet with hairstyle ideas and I DID have luck doing a French twist and some other styles. When used this way, it did add volume and it is much easier to conceal the hairbands. I also glued some fake hair tracks to the large one and I can do much more with it this way. This product wasn't a huge win for me but I did manage to put it to good use. Maybe too, I just don't look good with too much pouf. I could see this working for someone with a different face shape and maybe with darker, thicker hair...but for me this is pretty much something I would use only for formal hairstyles. It is too much fuss and adjusting to be bothered with every day. Plus, this hairstyle trend seems to be dying out. It doesn't look good on everyone and requires a lot of styling products. Call me old-school but for most occasions I prefer when my hair moves. The pouf-helmet thing can work for pictures and looks good on some people but it isn't for me!

Just paid money for nothing. I am not satisfied with this product. I does not work for me at all. I will never recommend it to anybody
