1Destroys your bras!!!!  Sep 23, 2007 By D. K.
This is the worst invention I have ever tried!! It failed in everyway one can imagine. I bought the BraBaby and fed it a pretty satin bra with cute buttons down the center.
Here are the ways BraBaby destroyed my bra:
1st- The amount of space between the inner ball and the outer shell provided enough room for one of the cups to fold over on itself. The two layers of the Bra Baby rattling against both sides actually permanently pressed that crease into the bra.
2nd- The seams on the edges of the plastic are slightly sharp and rough, which snagged my smooth satin like I dragged it across velcro.
3rd- The holes are big enough for buttons and other embellishments to poke out and be severed off by the the sharp/rough edges of the BraBaby itself.
4th- There is nothing to keep the bra straps and band tucked into the inner ball, so of course, during the wash, they come out and pass through the way-too-large-holes on the outside, then become tangled and stretched in the wash.
On top of it eating my bra, the thing is annoying to use! I'm only a 32C cup and my underwire cups don't fit well into the thing. I have a hard time getting it past the tumbler in my washing machine just to put it in there. The darn thing is noisy in the washer & dryer.
I was offered a refund from the store for this peice of garbage, and I hear I'm not the first person to complain about this thing. I'd like to see it removed from the shelves. I still feel I'm owed for my new bra that BraBaby destroyed!

2Not worth it  Jun 17, 2007 By smartshopper
All together I purchased 5 BraBaby's. One broke within the first two washes, two broke within the first four washes, and the other two lasted maybe 8 months. The ones that lasted 8 months did a good job of taking care of the bra, but that doesn't do me a lot of good if they break.

1Very Unhappy  Jan 06, 2007 By S. Ward
I was not able to use this product. It did not say anywhere in the add that it only fit certain size bras. DO not buy this if you are a c or larger... It does not fit and will wrinkle your bra!

1Brababy belongs in the 99 cents store  Sep 10, 2007 By Jenette
The Brababy does not function as claimed. The device is poorly designed and is made of flimsy, low quality plastic. The Brababy came apart and my girlfriend's A cup bras were ruined! I have to throw her bras away. Brababy also claimed to hold all cup sizes and in reality, it could only hold A cup bras.

We had bought the Brababy as a gift for our's friend at the same time. The friend followed the Brababy's instructions which say: "Also safe for use in the dryer" and she told us that her Brababy melted in her dryer into a glob of molten plastic that ruined HER bras, her clothes AND her dryer! We felt horrible!!!

We also bought the competitor's product called the Braball. The Braball is twice the price of the Brababy but is worth every penny, because it works as claimed and we didn't have to replace our bras, (not to mention our clothes or our dryer!) The Brababy turned out to be the more expensive product in the end!

We have emailed Amazon asking them to stop selling the Brababy to their customers as it is obviously defective!

2A great idea -- but disappointing results...  Jan 02, 2008 By PAgirl
I was so excited to buy this, thinking that I would never have to hand wash my bras again, which is such a pain! However, the Bra Baby comes easily undone in my dryer, thus defeating the purpose. I've even gone so far as to use safety pins to hold it closed, but it sometimes still comes undone. Even when it stays closed, the bra moves around inside, getting folded and causing the padding to get crushed. I've been reading reviews of the BraBall and it seems to be much better, so I'm thinking of investing in one of those... We'll see how that goes...

Update: After having used the BraBall now for a number of months, I can say that it is far superior to the Bra Baby. Only problem with it is that it's slightly bigger and doesn't fit well in my small washer. But it's pretty easy to put it in open and close it inside and then it causes no problem. I would definitely recommend the BraBall over the Bra Baby.
