 Could be a little "butter"-- but very nice! Jan 02, 2008

Unlike the other reviewer, I had no issues with the delivery. In fact, they came earlier than promised and were packed well. We love these little guys-- they melt the butter well, don't get hot to the touch (the design allows you to pick up the warmer from the edges and not burn your fingers), and they clean up very easily. My only small gripe is that they could have put some sort of rubber foot on the bottom to keep them from, say, and sliding off your tray table to dump melted butter on your couch. (I know... I know... we shouldn't have had it that close, but still!)
Until they put little rubber feet on the bottom of the metal cage, be sure to place yours on some sort of non-slip surface!

I ordered these and, as others reported, one came broken due to poor packaging. I contacted Amazon.com and I was able to return at NO CHARGE! Received a new set and they were perfect. Make sure you use CLARIFIED butter to remove the fat or you will get popping because butter or margarine has a very high fat content. Clarified butter is easy to make and the results is a sweet, yummy butter taste. Recipes are readily available on the internet. One review said the warmers were too large...however, do you like to swirl your seafood in butter? Don't hesitate to order but be prepared if one is broken. Replacements come quickly!!! I've used the little candles twice and they can be used many more times before needing to be replaced. Just make sure you place your butter in the warmers and light the candles at least 15 minutes before serving so the butter is nice and warm!!!

My original order had this item and also a cast iron skillet in one box. Needless to say the butter warmer had one broken warmer. Amazon sent me a replacement box of two warmers. One of those was broken.
I do NOT suggest ordering anything like this item. It could get broken being shipped to Amazon, or from Amazon to you, and YOU will be charged the returned shipping charge to Amazon.
