Clean and Easy Jun 23, 2010

We just moved into a new house, and imagine our horror to find mice and rats! My husband and I are squeamish about snap traps and didn't want to take the chance of using poison. This was our next option, but electronic traps are so expensive!
I was skeptical because this trap was so inexpensive, but I thought it was worth a try and bought two. We had a snap trap set up in the garage for two weeks, but never caught a rat. I set up the PestZap, and caught a rat the very first night! I really like that you can just throw the whole box away. No need to even look at the rat. So far we have caught two.
I also have one set up in the house for mice. Haven't caught one yet, but removed two mice by hand using a fish net, so perhaps there are none left (hopefully!). I like it for the house because it is inconspicuous... not like having a snap trap left out.
We have a cat and a puppy, and I am confident that the traps are placed in areas they can't reach. I bait it with dry dog or cat food.
The flashing indicator is a great way to know you have caught something. It is very reliable, thus far. I was a bit confused when I first set it up. The light turns green, the unit buzzes, and then the light shuts off. That means the trap is set (I thought it was firing off early).
This is a fantastic product. Don't hestitate to use one for your unwanted guests.

Works everytime and no messy cleanup. I dont have to touch any dead pests.
