My daughter got this for her 11th birthday. She had been wanting it for a couple of years. She and 2 friends had a fabulous time playing with it (and pretending to be hairdressers) for a couple of hours. They loved it! 2 of the girls had medium brown hair, and the pink and blue showed up wonderfully. One of the friends had highlighted hair, and apparently had a harder time washing it out (which may have been due to just plain lack of scrubbing on her part...she's only 11 too). All in all, this is a great toy for older girls (or boys...they did my 6 year old son's hair too!), but they must be careful when using. Just have them treat it like paint, or nailpolish...Don't spill, use plenty of paper towels, and be careful! Why not let them get coloring their hair pink and blue out of their system now, instead of when they're 15? Next time I'm gonna have her do mine too! Fun times for older kids.

Girl Crush Streak & Style
This was a huge disappointment for my 8-year-old daughter. Quite simply, it does not work. Using nearly the entire tube of the darkest color provided, the color barely showed up on my daughter's medium brown hair. Plus, it's messy and stains. Don't waste your money.

My daughter has enjoyed this product but we've had trouble getting the color out of her hair, especially the pink. Not the end of the world for a 7 year-old though. It does eventually wear out after a couple weeks of washing.

I bought this product for my almost 8 year old. She loves it and it is easy to use. The colors wash out easily as well. The color looks lumpy initially, but when it's dry and you can brush the hair it goes away. Clean up was easy too.

My daughter only wanted this for Christmas and only Amazon had it in stock. She and I both love it! She looks so cute and the color comes out mostly after one wash. Some times it takes two to get it all out. It dries quickly and stays put.
