1This product DOES NOT WORK!!!  Jun 07, 2007 By BABY "ME"
I bought this product because I wanted to avoid taking my dogs to the Pet Groomer and save money on their nails. I thought "Hey this product will detect if I'm getting to close to the quick of my dogs nails how cool is that!!!"

Well.... that's not what happened. When I finally got the product I tried it on my English Bulldog. When I tried to clip the nail the red light kept came on. So I decided to try it again except I'd go a little lower this time once again the red light came on. I tried it as far away from the nail and yet again the red light came back on. I tried all of his nails and the red light came on but on one nail the green light came on but that was the same nail and the same distance where I had it the first time and the red light came on. I decided to return the product because obviously it didn't work and it was defected. I didn't want to buy another one because I don't want to be disappointed and find out that it doesn't work.

I've read the reviews on the other websites and I've yet to see a positive review. Its sad because I really thought that this product would actually work and I would save money cutting my dogs nails. I guess not oh well guess it's back to the groomers again :(

3quickfinder safety nail clipper  Jul 23, 2007 By G.W.
This product is made of plastic, and makes a very loud noise when clipping the toenail. It does not get very close to the quick at all and the nail remains pretty long after using it. I only tips the nail, and in my opinion can be done without the sensor because the nail remains very long. The blade is not very sharp and cannot be replaced, you have to throw it away and buy another clipper.

1disappointed  Jul 13, 2007 By Patti
I was so excited to get this because my dog has thick black nails and I am scared to clip too short. He is also scared of anyone doing this ( like groomers or the Vet).
The light will say green and then go to red. Never consistent. I even tried way down on his LONG nails and it would come up red.
So it was a waste of money.
Can't be trusted any more than doing it with regular clippers. :(

1This product should be taken off the market.  Oct 26, 2007 By jk
I too had high hopes which were soon dashed once I tried to operate the unit. The directions are written in a 3 font, went to the web and watched the movie....even in their demonstration they can't get the light system to work right! The lights flash red/yellow green then change as you try to cut but you see this and release pressure, and so on. I wouldnt trust this thing to prune a dead rose bush, not to mention using it on my dog! If you bought this paperweight, take it back...I most certainly am.

1Save Your Money!  Sep 24, 2007 By Fran "Delaware Schoolmarm"
This product was a total waste of money! As others have written, the red light/green light system doesn't work, with a red light being the usual constant no matter where the clipper is placed on the nail. The occasional green light was usually too close to the paw to be safe! So much for the advertised "sensor detects quick for safety." Save your money and spend it on professional grooming.
