Not all that, but... May 21, 2010

It's cool, the only problem we have is the rollers sliped off the shaft that turns the rollers the first time we used it. So if your not watching it your hot dogs will burn in one position. It gets hot enough and they taste great when done. After the first couple of times I put a couple of drops of oil on it and it worked just fine. Also my wife complained that it had a metal smell when it was cooking. It usually takes 20-30 minutes to cook on high ,depends on how done you want your dog. If something were to go wrong with this I wouldn't purchase this one again. I would go with something more heavy duty. THis will do until then though.

very good cooking tool for office Jun 05, 2007

bought this for office use. 5 people.
Can make lunch automatically a few days a month without standing watch over them.
chrome rollers are a plus and clean up easily.
It would have been nice with a closed bun compartment though in foil defrosts frozen buns nicely.
Hot Dog Cooker Jan 17, 2011
By Lori The first one we received did not rotate. The second one we received was not in the original packaging, so I assume it was returned and repaired and send out as a replacement. It had a broken grease catching cup. It worked for about 5 minutes and then quit rotating also. We waited a little while and tried it again and it did rotate. However, not sure if we want to keep or not.
Not a very good product.
Pretty nice machine Dec 28, 2010

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and it really isn't too bad.
Pros:
1. It's not bulky or oddly shaped like most hotdog machines, making storage a snap.
2. It comes apart easily for cleaning.
3. Allows you to cook many things BESIDES hotdogs, according to the box.
Cons:
1. The first time you use it, it smells like it's going to burn your house down. This is ONLY the first time though because it's new I assume.
2. It REALLY needs a bun warmer and it's lacking. Their way to warm the buns? Setting them atop the machine so the steam coming from the hotdogs steams the buns warm?!
3. Needs a warmer setting DESPERATELY! It will cook the hotdogs for a set length of time...then just shuts off so you have to eat quicklt or eat cold or over cooked hotdogs. No happy medium.
All in all, this is a really good machine for the family to use...but it's not something I would use to serve people at a cookout or something because, lets be honest, no one wants to sit there cooking 6 dogs at a time for 12 minutes long intervals so people can eat constantly warm dogs.
For my home, I'd buy it again.
great roasted hotdogs Apr 06, 2010
By Shari S. Durham We were planning a big family dinner with hotdogs as the main entree. We were looking for a way to roast many hotdogs at one time, while preparing the rest of the meal. This worked great! I would recommend this product and this seller.
