Dogs love these treats and I think I see a difference in their shedding with just one bag! I have three hairy beasties running around the house so was willing to try them. The dogs love them and wish they could have more a day than their allotment! They smell yummy even to me so I can see why they love them so much!

It does reduce shedding Jun 30, 2008

I first was skeptical since I couldn't imagine how this supplement would actually reduce shedding. I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, and wow, does he shed. After giving him about 3 treats daily for several days, the result was noticable: a lot less shedding, and his fur became soft and shiny.
The pack lasts about a month for a dog 21-50 lbs when feeding about 3-4 treats daily, as recommended on the package.

The FURminator deShedding dog treats are AMAZING! You won't believe how much shedding they cut back on. We have a black lab/border collie mix who sheds like CRAZY. Or should I say, he USED to shed like crazy. After feeding him these treats for a few weeks (he loves the taste), something strange happened. We didn't have to vacuum every 2 days! We went an entire week before we even though about having to vacuum. And then, it still didn't need it! We can go about 2 weeks and the carpet is only lightly shed on. If you have a shedding dog, especially a shedding black dog with light colored carpets, you will understand how amazing this really is! I will continue to purchase these again and again. Not only does our dog love them, but the treats make our lives a lot easier! We don't have to vacuum every other day to save embarrassment of our carpets if someone stops by to visit. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is constantly fighting the battle against dog hair - you don't have to live that way anymore!

I started using these about six months ago along with the tool to remove the undercoat hair. Both my dogs love these treats! I have also noted that their fur is very soft and shiny, and I have seen a big reduction in the hair I find around the house. I believe that these treats are responsible for the improvements.

I first received this product in a package combined with the Furminator tool. My first thought, after opening the bag, was "my dog will never eat these things." They smell horrible! Well, he loves them. They do seem to work in aiding with the shedding but I cannot say that with certainity because we use the tool in conjunction with them. I can say that the combination of the tool and these treats have definitely made a drastic improvement in the shedding problem.
