We have 2 pugs that can't jump in our bed. They love to be with us and have a hard time getting on our tall furniture. These stairs are the greatest thing ever! It also helps protects their knees! Prevents sublux patellas! My male is even 18 pounds and uses them all the time with no trouble! Assembly is the easiest, too!

It was super easy to assemble and its sturdy enough for my little girl. Does exactly what its supposed to do.. received it a lot sooner than it was scheduled to arrive..
Doggy steps work great for cats, too Jun 18, 2010
We purchased 2 sets of doggy steps for our older cat who has short legs and has never been good at jumping. She can walk up the stairs to the cedar chest at the base of our bed and then jump to the bed. We use the other steps either on the porch so she can get to an oversized chair or in the den where she can climb up to the loveseat.
Excellent item for the price.

Love 'em...need to order about 3 more. The 4th step...which costs what the steps themselves do...that's just wrong. Otherwise, my overweight rat terriers love the steps...making me happy as a clam.

I bought this for my ShihTzu because he likes to get up on the bed and he cannot jump that high on his own. It's a nice product and easy to put together. I didn't expect it to be plastic but that's not a problem. For us the problem is that I would need to order an additional step. If you have a small dog you may want to consider that when ordering. I think for a dog who is a little larger this would be perfect. It's a nice product but I wouldn't give it 5 stars.
