Returning this today! Jun 14, 2010 I bought one of these at a local store and will be returning it today. The first time I used it I wasn't thrilled with it but it was better than the hose in my backyard. Yesterday I hooked it up to use it for a second time. When the water was turned on I quickly realized that something was very wrong. Water was spewing out of the bottom of the handheld unit in every direction. I turned the water off, disconnected everything and then tried again only to find myself being sprayed again. By this point I was wetter than the dog and she wasn't very happy either. I had high hopes that this would make bathing my dog easier but it is obviously not well made so instead of easier it was a mess. I called thier customer service but was told that they couldn't help me since I did not buy it from them. Thankfully the store I bought it at stands behind the products they sell since the company won't. This is also sold under the name Handy Groomer but it's the same product/same company.

Fancy Dog Shower Head Apr 30, 2010 I saw this on sale for around $20.00 at my local Petsmart. This was the lowest price for a spray shower adapter I could find at the time, so I decided "why not." Prior to using this, I used an old plastic pitcher to wet and rinse my dog down in the tub. The pitcher method works, but spray showers are much easier to use.
My assessment on this product's features:
Easy lock button to keep water flowing continuously: Can help prevent hand fatigue when bathing larger animals.
Comfort grip handle for one handed operation: It's okay, not sure for people with small hands.
Two quick connectors allow you to connect the Pet Jet for outdoor or indoor use: You can leave the kitchen/bathroom connector on indefinitely, however, I'm not too sure about the garden hose. Maybe if you have a quick connector setup for your garden hose. Personally, I would've preferred having a quick connector that attached to a standard dual shower-head configuration.
Dual trigger action, press button for soap and squeeze handle for water: If not using the shampoo reservoir, pressing both buttons increases the water pressure - not enough to harm the animal, but it does make rinsing faster, especially for double-coated dogs that are hard to wet down.
Internal shampoo reservoir holds enough shampoo for several washings: Not sure if it holds enough for several shampoos, but it does make bath time easier and faster. Just be sure to dilute your normal-brand pet shampoo.
Other thoughts:
Make sure you don't cross-thread the connector to your bathroom/kitchen faucet. There are only a few threaded rows, and if not careful, they can be easily cross-threaded. Use a wrench to tighten if necessary.
Don't leave the water running when the spray shower is idle. This causes a build=up of water pressure and the hose could rupture if you're not careful.
Before disconnecting the hose, turn off the water and release the trigger on the sprayer to void the hose of excess water. Remove the sprayer from the hose, and let the hose completely drain.
Conclusion: Overall, I'm satisfied with the product, but I doubt I'd have made this purchase if it wasn't on sale.
I love it so far! Feb 03, 2010 Just came in the mail today. Took two minutes to hook it up to my bathroom sink and one of those minutes was reading the directions. Very easy. I have a goldendoodle and his coat is so thick and fleecy that it was nearly impossible to get him clean. Followed the directions when filling with shampoo...might not need to dilute it so much b/c there were not alot of suds, but it was working. Baths usually take 30 minutes min. and this took less than ten! Hose was plenty long enough. Was able to get down his front and back legs and on his belly which was very difficult before. Was a little skeptical about the product after reading some of the reviews, but it was cheap enough to give it a try. Was ready to start making bi weekly appts. to the groomer for him! Hope it lasts...will post if I have any problems but so far, so good!
Works Great! Jan 19, 2010 After reading numerous reviews (good and bad, some really bad) posted here I went ahead and made the purchase. While it's not the highest of quality (did you really expect high quality for $24?) it works great! Reading the reviews did help me avoid mistakes made by others so I had a greater chance of success. I didn't let the water pressure build up so the plastic adapter did not fail. I thinned out the shampoo (as stated in the instructions) so it dispensed fine. I was done washing the dog so quickly, my partner kept asking if I did a thorough job. I highly recommend this product as long as you are aware of the potential problems.

Leaky. Soap doesn't always come out well. Nov 08, 2009 This thing was a waste of money. It leaks at the faucet connection. Pressing the button doesn't always dispense soap, even when I put in the correct amount. I don't really see this working better than a shower head. Worse yet, my unit shipped with instructions in a different language! I did find the English instructions online but by then, I was already ready to toss this thing.
