 Does its job Jul 29, 2010
This is the refill for the Premier Spray Sense Anti Bark Collar, also available here on Amazon. Not much more to say on that, except that it works with the collar as designated.

All this spray and collar taught my dog was to avoid the spray. In fact, she looks like a prize fighter bobbing & weaving to avoid being hit! In addition, now she's totally afraid of anything that we use in a spray form. This includes Chill Out and other beneficial (not punishing) products. I would try another form of training instead of this method.

I am sure this product works great for some people and their barking dogs. This didn't work on my very stubborn barking Boston. He would bark and then get blasted with the odor....then bark some more...he figured out to run the well dry multiple times a day! And my house smelled gross. I opted to use the water bottle to the face method instead and that is more effective on him. I am sure this will work on normal dogs though.
Fills the collar device with no problem Dec 27, 2009
I had a can of the Premier Spray Sense Citronella Refill for Anti Bark Collar which I'd purchased elsewhere and it did not work properly in refilling my dog's collar. I had no recourse because it was an "as is" type purchase and it would not have been practical for me to pay the return shipping and then take a chance that the replacement would be operational. The cans I've purchased from Amazon have been functional, arrived quickly, especially w/ the Prime membership shipping, and my dog really hates the spray it produces, and that's just what I wanted. As for refilling the collar, even when the device seems to be filled, after a few days, I top it off and I always test the microphone and battery by blowing into the device, with the spray pointed way out from my face, of course, before putting it around the dog's neck. If the battery is dead, then the spray will not dispense and it is simply wasted in the reservoir while your dog may continue to bark. If your collar device ceases to operate even with a fresh battery and a full reservoir, then contact the Premier people and they are eager to guide you in testing and then remedy the situation if the device is faulty. They provide excellent customer service for a product which has reduced the stress of my dog, neighbors and eased my conscience when I have to leave my old dog for long periods of time. A single can lasts for weeks for us, but if you have a vocal dog, I'd recommend purchasing two cans at a time so you're not caught without citronella ammo.

This product in conjunction with the gentle no bark collar aren't a good choice at all. The collar is difficult to load and doesn't really work well. Plus the spray wasn't really a deterant for my dog. The end result was my house smelled like freakish lemons and my dog kept right on barking.
