A dog owner's best friend! Feb 22, 2008

These bags are the best thing since sliced bread! I love my dog, Desi, but used to hate picking up his poop (texture issues...) This product is designed perfectly-- they're small and easily carried, part of the cardboard handle punches out to use as a scoop, then you just push down on the handle to tightly close and throw away. So simple! Plus, the manufacturer made them out of totally bio-degradable materials, so it's environment-friendly. Love this product!!!

Dispoz-A-Scoop is a hassle free, environmentally friendly solution to pet pollution. Dispoz-A-Scoop has made my life a lot easier.
I have four dogs, a Labrador, a German shepherd, a Japanese Shin, and a Leonberger. The Leonberger is a very big dog even though he is still a puppy. I walk my dogs every day and so does my wife. This means that we have to pick up substantial amounts of dog poop every day. I have handled all kinds of poop including soft stools in tall grass. Still, I do not have a problem with it because I've found Dispoz-A-Scoop.
I do not like picking up poop using bags because you have to touch and feel the poop, and I do not like using a pooper scooper because you have to carry them and they are messy and unhygienic. Dispoz-A-Scoop combines the best of both. It is essentially a small 99% biodegradable pooper scooper that consists of a plastic bag, a card board handle, and a metallic wire frame that holds the bag open while you scoop. When you are done scooping you push down on the card board handle which then slides over the wire and closes the bag. The Dispoz-A-Scoop bags have an airtight, waterproof seal, so if the bag gets wet, durability is not affected. This also prevents odor.
The so called Sani-grip keeps your fingers several inches away from the poop and prevents bacteria from passing through any part of the handle. It is the safest and most sanitary way of picking up poop that I have ever seen. The scooper bag contains special ingredients that promote degradation without harming the environment and the low carbon wire frame oxidize easily and self-destruct. The handle consists of recycled card board. There is nothing to wash, it is quick and easy, and it is 100% hygienic.
I typically buy the 24 pack and on the package it says for dogs up to 100 lbs. However, the poop from my 140 lbs Leonberger almost always fit inside the quite spacious bag (6" L x 4-3/4" W). However, even if the poop doesn't fit in the bag you can use the wire frame at the bottom of the bag to cut it up and place it in different Dispoz-A-Scoop bags.
