After giving birth my body was not looking fit for summer but after using this product for 5 weeks I look great in my bikini.
 This product is not very good at all. I was not able to get it to work. Maybe it was the batteries. I don't know. Apr 07, 2010
This product was not any good. It did not work. Perhaps it was a broken ab sonic belt, or maybe the batteries were just not any good. I was not happy with it at all.

Very Bad product Feb 08, 2010
I had different belts like this in the past and they worked perfect. Every time you put them on they started at lowest pulse and you pressed the up button to a nice hard contraction. Really helped tone problem areas. They were a different brand and were purchased over 5 years ago.
I bought this one hoping to replace my worn out ones, but it is Horrible! Hy husband and I both tried it and the same thing happened. When you first put it on it is low and you can push it up for stronger pulse, when it got to where you could JUST barely feel a contraction, the next press up gave a jolt like sticking your finger in a socket! I did not think the little battery could give such a shock but it did! And the next time you tried to turn it on it was STILL at that setting, it did not reset back down to zero.
This was my husband's first experience with these belts and he is scared to go near them now. I myself LOVED my old belts but now I am not sure I would even trust them anymore after this product. The shock it gave was potentially dangerous. My skin burned and stung the rest of the day, he felt ill. I would NOT recommend this company's product. Perhaps the quality of the construction of these belts has deteriorated over the years. Too bad as I was really hoping to get the benefits of a good one like I had before.
Guess I will save up for a good TENs machine instead.
I would give this product a -5 star if it was a choice.

BAD BAD BAD PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!! Jan 29, 2010
I was looking for a quick route to build muscle and stummbled across this item. i saw the negative reviews but ignored them. i thought nothing that bad could happen to me. well i received the item.. put the battery in... and it won't turn on.
easy as that. i even went to the store to buy a battery and that one didn't work either. so i was ignorant when it came to this so i bought it and now i regret it.
look elsewhere. it is worth spending $50 on one of these then wasting your money on a cheap one.

I bought this for my husband who wants the body builder body without the work :P. I have used it a few times myself. On the small muscle groups (bis, tris, quads, etc.) the contractions can be intense and you definately feel like you have had an extremely intense workout for a couple of days. On the abs, I'm not as impressed but maybe it needs more time. I am disappointed that it only has 10 intensity levels. On my thighs I can turn it all the way up and maintain a comfortable workout. On the calves it can be a little too intense but I am making my way up.
The blunt truth of the matter is that you get what you pay for and since I obtained this for under $15 including shipping I can complain too much.
I would recommend this for beginners and suggest using it on the smaller muscle groups.
